I enjoyed reading your blog. I just returned from Hungary...my first visit. I took my 87 year old dad to see the villages of our ancestors. My cousin joined us as we traced our Magyar roots. I cannot explain the way I felt connected to Hungary even though we did not even speak the language. I fell in love with the people, the language the culture and the food. I have a few vague memories of Hungarian grandparents and their traditions. No one from our family has been back to Hungary in 100 years. I even found a 3rd cousin in Budapest through the help of someone I met on the internet. We visited Budapest and northeast Hungary. Your site brought back memories....I hope to return again someday.
